TERMS AND CONDITIONS
or purchasing from Flutterby Cupcakes you agree to the following terms and conditions;
Flutterby Cupcakes tries to ensure that photos and product descriptions are as accurate as possible. Colours may vary slightly due to varying computer monitor resolution.
Orders are taken after a discussion by telephone or through email. We request a minimum of 7 days notice before your delivery date, however, if you have an urgent order then please contact us and we will do what we can to accommodate you. All orders are subject to a minimum 50% deposit payable at the point of booking, the remainder must be paid not less than 7 days prior to the collection/delivery date. Flutterby Cupcakes reserves the right to cancel any order without any reason at any time and issue you with a full refund.
Our cakes are as fresh as a daisy and are at their absolute
best if eaten within 24 hours.
However, if they are stored in a cool place in their box then
they will be good for up to 4 days - although they may not
taste as fresh
Cakes and Cupcakes can also be stored in an air-tight box
but fondant icing will get moist so toppings and decorations
will "droop" as a result.
Do not store cakes or cupcakes in the fridge.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION
At this stage we can only offer free delivery to local addresses, we will charge 50p per mile each way to all other local areas. We are able to deliver on Sundays or Public Bank Holidays, however there maybe an additional charge for this service and we retain the right to refuse delivery. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have given us the correct delivery information and that someone is available to receive the items. If you are not in we will attempt to leave them with a neighbour, however, if we are unable to deliver due to no fault of our own we will return the items to the business address and we would not be able offer a refund. We are hoping to be able to offer nationwide delivery via courier soon. Items will not be delivered or offered for collection until payment is received in full and has cleared (if a cheque). All collections must be pre-arranged.
We must receive in writing that you wish to cancel your order a minimum of 7 days before the agreed delivery/collection date, quoting your order number. Should you wish to cancel your order, please provide us with as much notice as possible, particularly with a bespoke order as a lot of work goes in ahead of time.
Any cancellations made within the 7 days prior to collection and delivery will lose the 50% deposit and may be liable for the full charge. Our products are made to order and so we are unable to re-sell these should you decide to cancel and will go to waste.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Due to the nature of the products sold by Flutterby Cupcakes (edible) we do not accept returns. However, if you are not 100% happy then please get in touch within 24 hours of receiving your order to report any problems.
Flutterby Cupcakes prides itself on producing beautiful cakes and cupcakes, in the unlikely event that you are not 100% happy with your order and we mutually agree that a refund would be appropriate, compensation will not exceed the original total (less postage and packaging) paid for the items. Flutterby Cupcakes reserves the right to refuse a refund and will not refund any postage and packaging costs.
